1996 started in Breckenridge with snow on the peaks and funny colored clothes.

We headed straight up Hoosier Pass   

After rafting in Buena Vista we headed over Monarch Pass into the awaiting storms and on to Gunnison.  

After a night in Gunnison and the great food at Garlic Mikes  the road took us along the Gunnison River,    

Blue Mesa Lake   

and the Black Canyon.   

We camped in Hotchkiss.

After a night of partying in Hotchkiss we climbed up McClure Pass and coasted down into Glenwood Springs.

Departing Glenwood took us through Glenwood Canyon.

A little rain calls for a little rain gear.   

After the canyon we were forced to share the road with those pesky cars as we headed to Vail.

Our last night was spent in Vail with a Bluegrass Band and lots of beer.

Since this was our last night I took pictures of some swillers.
